Jan Schreuder Textural Abstract Mixed Media, dated 1962, SOLD

This is a very interesting and unusual abstract work by the well considered artist Jan Schreuder (1904-64). It is a mixed media piece using some kind of plaster or sand over a mesh, then scrafitto decorated while wet and then painted, it is dated 1962. It is signed to the front and to the reverse. It measures 92cm by 67cm in total including the frame.
