This is a superb Poole Studio range full sized Pottery charger depicting a stylised Owl and dating to around 1965. The design is often attributed to Robert Jefferson who was an important designer at the factory in the craft centre, he went on to design for other companies too. The colours are fantastic and the firing is crisp. This piece is incredibly well drawn, painted and fired. It measures 41cm in diameter and is fully marked to the base and in excellent condition. A great object.
