This is an interesting 1930s watercolour depicting a landscape with a house in the foreground by Arthur Berridge (1902-1957) unsigned. This will depict a local view to where he lived in Leicester. This work shows a spontaneous and free technique with use of earthy colours. It has the provenance of coming directly from the family estate in 2014. Framed it measures 41cm x 51cm, the image 29cm x 39cm.
