This is a very decorative and interesting felt work Art Deco embroidered picture of a pastoral landscape worked by E. Mary Gardiner. It's signed and dated 1932. It is a bold design with good colour tones. It is in quite good conditions considering the fragile nature of the material. There is some fraying to the very edge, three small holes and some pieces of felt which need re-sewing as they are lose. It measures 55.5cm by 37.5cm. A great objec.
